I have a nicely furnished bedroom available in a 2 bedroom, two-bathroom apartment for a minimum of five months (longer tenancy is welcome). The room will be available on August 1st. In the two-bedroom apartment both rooms are available but I'm hoping to lock down one tenant and then together find a second tenant based on your requests (i.e. gender, age, etc.) The first person to commit will have first choice of the two bedrooms though they are both nice. Each room is equal in size and renting for $1500. One of the bedrooms has a half bath but the other has a fire escape and more light. I have included images, videos and a very thorough description of the apartment so please read through it all prior to sending lots of questions.

It’s a pre-war building located in the very cute & convenient East Village/Noho/NYU area near many restaurants, shops, cafes, whole foods, the 4,5,6,N,R,W,F &V trains – in the heart of it all. With the apartment being situated on the fifth floor of a walk up, residents in this building save money on a gym membership! The apartment features 1.5 baths; a nice kitchen; exposed brick; a fireplace and two bedrooms on opposite ends of the apartment – providing more privacy.
About the bedrooms: Both bedrooms are large, air-conditioned and have windows, boasting lots of light! They both have an armoire for clothes, a bed, a dresser and a bedside table. The apartment also has wifi and cable wire set-ups in every room. Conditions: The apartment will be available August 1st and the rent is $1,500 a month (utilities not included). You will need to provide a one-month security deposit, which will be reimbursed upon the end of the sub-lease – given the apartment is in the condition that you found it. Whoever moves in will need to fills out a standard application and signs a sub-lease based on the agreed dates prior to move-in. You will be responsible for your own utilities, as I won’t be in New York to supervise them. Please no smoking (my rules) and no dogs (new building policy). |
