I’m looking to sublet my bedroom in Stuy Town for the months of July and August, with the possibility of the subletter picking up the lease as it expires at the end of the month. The apartment can come full or partially furnished, or unfurnished if that better fits the needs of the renter. What stays and what goes is flexible.
Amenities include:
---Hardwood floors, large living room, modern kitchen, WiFi, DVR, full walk-in closet, AC, nice-sized bedroom (I can fit a TV, bookcase, bench, large desk, full-sized bed, storage crates, and then some), quiet and safe location (Stuy Town is beautiful and has weekly farmer's markets, concerts, special events, and around-the-clock security...with an added summer bonus of outdoor lawns and recreation / sports areas), elevator service, in-house laundry, large windows (yet ample privacy), and the apartment is on the water, with a view of the river and bridge. Also, it's just minutes from the L train and Union Square, nestled in close proximity to the East Village, Gramercy / Flatiron districts, and LES.
Perfect for a summer student who has to leave in August or will return to university housing in the Fall, a budding New Yorker, or someone who needs a transitional place to stay.
This is a July 1st move-in and will be available for a minimum of two months. The move-in date (or at least beginning of payment) is non-negotiable. Rent is $1350 (price slightly negotiable), which includes AC, electricty, cable, DVR, wireless internet, water and heat, and is due upfront for July, and August rent would be due either the beginning of the month or mid-month (I'm flexible). |
