Move-in is JANUARY 1st. Building is super clean, has health club, pool, gorgeous roofdeck, laundry, package notification service, maintenance. Right off the 28th St stop on the 6 train and several bus lines. Duane Reade, supermarkets, dry cleaners, restaurants, bars, Kip's Bay movie theater. As convenient as it gets! I love living here.

Rent is $1750/month (includes building amenities, water, heat). Digital cable, high-speed wireless internet and ConEd bills are split and usually pretty cheap. Just one month security and first month's rent required.
Available bedroom can fit a queen size bed, desk, dresser, nightstand, two tall bookshelves, has biggest walk-in closet I've seen in a NYC apartment and three huge windows with a great view of downtown. Lots of sunlight. Living room fits a couch, coffee table, tv unit and dining nook. Kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, spacious fridge and lots of pantry space. Full bath has great lighting, big mirrors, lots of cabinet space, great water pressure.
Me: Friendly, responsible, clean, open-minded, laid back and respectful of others' space and time and need that in a roommate, too. I work and attend grad school so I'm not home much and like to keep weeknights low key. I go out on weekends but never bring the party home. I spend every other weekend away. You'll have tons of privacy and personal space; my current roommate frequently has the place all to herself.
You: Drug-free, no pets, clean, considerate, responsible, communicative, securely employed or full-time student with reliable guarantor. My current roommate and I have had a pleasant, drama-free living situation and I'd like to continue that with the right person!
