Enormous room available in a 4 BR 2-story 1930s house, located near the Hel-Mel neighborhood and LA City College. Convenient access to the 101, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Echo Park, and Downtown. We have one parking space available for our new housemate in our driveway.
The house has beautiful hardwood floors, tall ceilings, driveway, fireplace, front porch and yard, garage, and backyard with lemon trees and brick patio. Additional common spaces include living room, dining room, kitchen with dishwasher, study, washer and dryer, and unfinished basement. This is not a white-walled, stained carpet typical Los Angeles location -- beautiful red, green, yellow, blue, and burned sienna walls, (a pink-tiled kitchen!) and hand-laid hardwood floors abound.
ROOM IS AVAILABLE APRIL 1ST. Month-to-month lease with two months notice.
The room is $1100/month, located on the second floor near two other bedrooms. It has a walk-in closet, which has been previously used as a recording studio. The room is HUGE -- perfect for a bedroom/home office or art studio. Past renters have used the closet as a sound recording / ADR booth and the room as a home office for editing sound. Windows on three sides of the room. It is next to a full bathroom, and shares access to a balcony with one other room. The balcony has views of downtown Los Angeles.
Four people (including one couple) and one small orange cat already live in the house. We are all recent college graduates (and one masters grad) who now work in the film industry. Looking for a housemate who is similarly creative, open-minded, and respectful of privacy and common spaces.
