Description:
I'm looking for two roommates to move in sometime in August to share a three-bedroom, two-floor townhouse. This townhouse is located in Williamsburg Manor on Donaldson Drive, right off of Walnut Street (by the Border's Bookstore). We're literally right across the street from 440, and the drive to campus is less than 5 minutes. Roommates need to be non-smokers, and not allergic/opposed to cats (I have some). I'd be willing to let more pets in the house as long as they're not obnoxious. :) Roommates must be willing to sign a year lease with the apartment managers. Apartment already has a washer/dryer, but is pretty much completely unfurnished, so if you wanted to bring furniture there'd be plenty of space for it. $310 rent includes utilities for washer/dryer rental, water/trash etc. but doesn't include electric, cable or internet. I've got high speed internet access, but no cable TV (I'm not opposed to getting cable, however). Electric varies depending on time of year and how much we crank the AC, but on average tends to stick around the low-to-mid 100's. If I can only get one person to move in here you'll have to be willing to pay an increased rate until we can get a third person to further reduce the costs. That'd put your rent at about 465, but only until we get a third person in here. I'm also not terribly worried about finding a third person as school's starting up soon and there'll be plenty of people looking for a place to live. I'm a pretty easy-going guy, 24 years old, definitely looking to make friends out of this arrangement but more than willing to leave you to yourself if that's your thing. So long as you pay the rent on time and stay fairly clean and respectful of your fellow roommates I'm pretty much willing to work with you however you need. If you've got a significant other you want to move into your room with you, hey, works for me; it'd just reduce the cost of rent more. Email me at tyshalle83@yahoo.com with any questions you have and we can set up a time for you to take a look at the place if you'd like. Thanks a lot, --Shane
